How do you play Number Cascade and Math Maze?

In Number Cascade, numbered tiles fall on a clock; drop each one into a column so that equal tiles touch and merge into their sum, and chain merges for bigger scores. In Math Maze you walk from START to TARGET, and every cell you step on changes your running value — arrive with exactly the target.

Number Cascade

“Timed merge — drop, chain, cascade.”

  1. “Tiles fall on a clock. Drag to pick a column; tap to slam it down.”
  2. “Touching equal tiles merge into their sum — and chains cascade for big combos.”
  3. “Each day has one goal. Reach it before the tiles run out to keep your streak.”

The board is 5 columns by 7 rows. Each merge scores the value it makes, and a chain of merges multiplies it — the longer the chain, the bigger the multiplier.

The daily goal

Each day’s goal is one of: make a tile of a certain value, have a number of primes on the board, trigger a chain of several merges, reach a score, make a tile equal to today’s date — or, every seventh day, finish the run with no overflow. The daily run has 50 tiles.

Practice paces

Practice asks you to “Choose your pace”:

PaceWhat it’s like
ChillTiles fall at a steady, gentle speed
NormalStarts calm and speeds up as tiles drop
TurboThe fastest pace, and it speeds up as tiles drop

A best score is kept for each pace. Cascade has its own monthly streak freeze.

Math Maze

“Find the path through arithmetic operations.”

  1. “Tap adjacent cells to move through the grid. Each cell contains an arithmetic operation that transforms your current value.”
  2. “Add, subtract, multiply, divide, or square your way to the target.”
  3. “Find a path from START to TARGET where your final value equals the target value. Each puzzle has at least one solution!”

You move up, down, left or right (not diagonally) and can’t step on the same cell twice. The panel at the bottom shows your Current Value and the Target; the top shows your moves. A cell marked =n sets your value to n.

Frequently asked questions

When does a Number Cascade run end?
The daily run ends when its 50 tiles are used up or when a tile can't fit because the columns are full. Practice runs have no tile limit and end on overflow.
What if I miss the daily Cascade goal?
Your streak stays where it was — the result says "Goal not reached". Meet the goal to keep it growing. There is one Cascade run a day, plus Practice whenever you like.
Can I get stuck in Math Maze?
Every maze has at least one solution. Use Undo to step back or Restart to begin again — and Hint can show the next move or the whole path.
