Screen Cracker Live Wallpaper — Terms and Conditions
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and FUNCODE SRL, Str. Eugen Ionesco 67, Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County 400357, Romania (Trade Register No. 2013002104120, CUI 31945144) ("we", "us") for Screen Cracker Live Wallpaper, also called Break Screen (ro.funcode.screencracker). By installing or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
1. Using the app
You need an Android device and launcher that support live wallpapers. There is no app account, sign-in or age check. If you are a minor, you need your parent's or guardian's permission where required by the law where you live and by Google Play's terms.
2. Simulated cracks, not physical damage
Break Screen is an Android live wallpaper. You select a picture, crop it, and apply it as the wallpaper through Android's wallpaper controls. Tapping the wallpaper adds animated crack effects; tapping an existing crack makes it grow. You can choose the crack style and enable clearing the effects with a long press.
The cracks are a visual effect. The app does not break, diagnose or repair your screen. They appear on the live wallpaper, not as damage to the display or an overlay on every other app. You can remove the effect by choosing another wallpaper in Android's settings.
Do not use the effect to frighten, harass or defraud someone, or present it as evidence of real damage. Only change another person's wallpaper with their permission, and explain that the cracks are simulated if they could reasonably believe the device is broken.
3. Your pictures and local storage
You keep ownership of your pictures. Only choose an image you have the right to use. The system image picker lets you choose a picture; the app does not need broad access to your photo library. It saves local copies for cropping and displaying your wallpaper. We do not receive or upload those pictures, and the app has no photo-sharing service.
A wallpaper can be seen by anyone who can see your device, so choose it with that in mind. Android backup and device-transfer features may copy app data, depending on your device and backup settings. Those features are managed by Android and your backup provider, not an app account with us. Keep your own copy of any original picture you want to retain.
The app's privacy policy explains local image handling, retention, deletion, Android backup and your privacy rights.
4. Downloads, payments and refunds
Google Play shows the download price, if any, and the applicable purchase terms before you install. Payment, receipts and refund requests for a Google Play purchase are handled through Google Play. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or ads in the current app.
For a Google Play purchase, use Google's refund process first, or contact us for help. Nothing in these terms removes any refund, withdrawal or other right you have under applicable consumer law.
5. Your licence and acceptable use
Subject to these terms and any applicable Google Play purchase terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app on compatible Android devices for your own use. The app's code, built-in artwork and crack effects belong to us or their respective licensors. Your selected pictures remain yours.
You agree not to:
- redistribute or sell copies of the app or extract its built-in assets for redistribution;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use images unlawfully or infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy;
- use the simulated damage for fraud, threats, harassment or unauthorized changes to a device.
You may take personal screenshots and recordings of your wallpaper, provided you have the necessary rights to any picture they contain.
6. Compatibility and availability
The wallpaper runs locally after installation. Its appearance, touch interaction and availability depend on your device, launcher, Android version and wallpaper settings. Some launchers or device modes may not support all live-wallpaper behavior. We do not promise that the app will be error-free or work identically on every device.
We may update the app to fix problems or change features, subject to your statutory rights. These terms do not promise indefinite updates or support for every future Android version.
7. Stopping use
You can stop using the app at any time by choosing a different wallpaper and uninstalling it. Android's app settings let you clear its local data. Uninstalling or clearing data may remove the app's saved pictures and settings; copies held by your backup provider are controlled separately through that provider's settings. There is no app account to delete with us.
8. Our responsibility and your consumer rights
We provide the app subject to applicable law. To the extent the law permits, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or suitability for every purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, the protections of the country where you live continue to apply, including remedies if the app is faulty or does not match its description.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be explained with the relevant app update or another appropriate notice. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have; where the law requires your agreement, we will obtain it. You can stop using the app if you do not accept a change.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law, subject to mandatory consumer protections. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of protections under the laws of your home country or your right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you there.
If you are a consumer in the EU and we cannot settle something between us, you can take it to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in your own country. The European Consumer Centres Network will tell you which one covers you and can help with a cross-border complaint, and the European Commission's consumer redress pages explain your options.
We would much rather you emailed contact@funcode.ro first — most things are quicker to fix that way, and we would rather fix them.
