1. Photos you choose

The app uses Android's system image selection screen to let you choose a photo. It receives access to the selected image, rather than requesting broad photo-library or storage access. Your chosen provider may offer photos stored on your device or in a cloud account; obtaining a cloud photo is handled by that provider under its own terms.

The app reads and resizes the image locally, saves a working copy for cropping, saves a cropped preview, and saves the image you apply as a wallpaper. These copies are in the app's private storage. Photos can contain personal information; saying the app does not upload them does not mean no personal information is processed. We do not receive these photos. The app has no internet permission, photo upload service, account, advertising SDK or analytics/crash-reporting SDK.

2. Settings and wallpaper interaction

The app stores your crack-style and long-press-clearing preferences on your device. Wallpaper taps are used locally to draw simulated cracks; the app does not send a tap history to us. The wallpaper image is visible to anyone who can see the device's wallpaper, including its lock screen if you apply it there. Choose photos with that visibility in mind.

3. Android backup and device transfer

Android backup is enabled. Depending on your app version, Android version, device manufacturer and backup settings, saved images and preferences may be copied to your backup provider or transferred to another device. The released app version 1.4 does not exclude the working, cropped or applied image files from backup. A later app update may exclude temporary copies; this does not remove backups already held by a provider.

Backup and transfer are managed by Android, your device manufacturer and your chosen backup provider. We do not operate that backup service or receive its copies. Its retention, security, storage locations and any international transfers are governed by the provider's terms and your settings. Review Android's backup settings if you do not want your app data backed up. Keep your own original photos; this app is not a photo-backup service.

4. Storage, retention and deletion

The working image is replaced when you choose another image; the cropped preview is replaced when you save another crop; the applied wallpaper copy is replaced when you apply another image. Replacing one does not necessarily delete the other two. Changing your wallpaper alone does not erase the app's saved copies. They and your settings remain until replaced or until you clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall it. Clearing app storage and uninstalling do not delete the original photo in your gallery or chosen provider.

Copies already in Android backup or a transferred device are controlled separately. A backup may restore app data on reinstall or device setup. Manage those copies through your device and backup provider, and clear app data on each device where you want it removed. There is no app account or developer-hosted photo record for us to delete remotely.

5. Support, purchases and purposes

We process the selected photo and preferences locally to provide the wallpaper features you request. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, this is performance of the service you request. If you email us, we receive your address, message and attachments and use them to respond, investigate the issue and keep necessary correspondence. Our basis is our legitimate interest in providing support; we retain correspondence only as long as needed for that enquiry or an applicable legal requirement. Do not send private photos or other sensitive information unless needed for your request.

Google Play handles download payments, receipts and refunds under Google's own privacy terms. We do not receive your payment-card details. The current app has no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Store or support records accessible to us may be retained where needed for legal, tax or dispute-resolution obligations. The app itself does not sell or share photos for advertising.

6. Recipients, security and international processing

Photos are processed within the app and by the Android wallpaper system. Android's app-private storage protections help restrict access by other apps, but no device or storage system is risk-free. Device compromise, people with access to your screen, and backup settings can affect confidentiality. Keep your device and apps updated and protected with a screen lock.

There is no developer-hosted photo database or app backend. Your chosen image provider, Android backup provider, Google Play and the email services used for a support enquiry process data for their respective services. Their infrastructure may be outside your country or the EEA; consult their notices for locations and applicable safeguards. We do not initiate a transfer of your wallpaper photos to a developer server. We handle any reportable personal-data breach concerning information we control as required by applicable law.

7. Your rights and children

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing of personal information we hold about you. Email contact@funcode.ro. For on-device photos and settings, use the deletion controls described above; we cannot access or erase those remotely. You can complain to Autoritatea Naţională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), Romania or your local data-protection authority.

There is no age check or app account. Children should use the app with a parent's or guardian's guidance where required by local law and Google Play's terms. We do not use the app to collect children's photos, profile children or show targeted advertising. A parent can remove locally saved photos using Android's app-storage controls.

8. This website and policy updates

This policy describes the Android app. This website's analytics, cookies and consent choices are described separately in the website privacy policy. Opening a legal link from the app loads a website in your browser; normal website and browser processing applies.

We will update this notice when relevant practices change, show the revised date above, and provide any additional notice required by law. A privacy notice describes our processing; using the app is not blanket consent to unrelated processing.
