Number Series — Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 28, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and FUNCODE SRL, Str. Eugen Ionesco 67, Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County 400357, Romania (Trade Register No. 2013002104120, CUI 31945144) ("we", "us") for the Number Series Android app (com.numberseries). By installing or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Number Series.
1. Who can use Number Series
You must be at least 13 years old.
We do not ask your age and there is no age gate, so this is a condition of the agreement rather than something we check. The limit exists because of the social features — a public profile that can be searched by username, and friend requests from people you have not met — not because of the puzzles.
It is 13 rather than higher because Number Series has no messaging: no private messages, no comments, no photos, no voice, and no free text in a duel. If you are under 13, or a parent or guardian would rather you did not use the social features at all, the whole single-player game works without an account — you simply never sign in.
2. What Number Series is
Number Series is a single-player puzzle game with optional social and subscription features. Most of it works offline and without an account: the sequence puzzles, the daily challenge, the brain-training mini-games, the IQ-style test, Kakuro, MathMaze and the rest.
The "IQ Test" mode is entertainment, not a clinical or psychometric assessment. It is not administered or validated by a psychologist, its score is not a diagnosis, and it should not be used to make any decision about education, employment or health.
3. Your account and your username
An account is optional and is needed only for friends, cloud backup, and carrying a subscription between devices. You sign in with your Google account; you are responsible for keeping it secure and for what happens under it.
A username is yours to choose but not yours to own. We may reclaim or change one that impersonates somebody, infringes a trade mark, is offensive, or is being used to abuse another player. If you change your username, the old one is held briefly and then returns to the pool — and if you delete your account, your username becomes available to somebody else.
Your display name and username are visible to other players. Your email address never is — see the privacy policy.
The friends leaderboard is optional and off unless you turn it on. While it is on, your daily results — time, score, mistakes, hints and whether you met the goal — are visible to the people you have added as friends, and turning it off deletes what you shared. Rankings compare gameplay only; they carry no prize and no standing outside the app.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Number Series to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, abuse or intimidate anybody;
- choose a username or display name that impersonates somebody, is hateful or obscene, or is intended to distress another player;
- cheat, automate play, manipulate leaderboards or streaks, or use a modified copy of the app;
- interfere with the service, bypass its limits, or try to reach data that is not yours;
- use automated means to create accounts or send friend requests;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
If another player is bothering you, block them. It takes effect immediately, does not need their agreement, and survives them deleting their account. There is also a report action, which sends us the details. A person reads those reports — there is no automated moderation system behind it, and we would rather say so than imply one exists. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
5. Subscriptions
Number Series is free to play. A premium subscription unlocks extra features; there is no free trial.
Google Play sells it, not us. Payment, taxes, renewal and cancellation are handled by Google under Google Play's terms of service, and we never receive your payment details. Prices are shown in the app in your own currency, as supplied by Google Play.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep premium until that period ends.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Google holds it, not us, so you must cancel it in Play separately or you will keep being charged.
Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy, and nothing here limits any refund right you have under consumer law.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content. Because a subscription gives you access immediately, you are asked to agree to immediate supply when you buy — and once supply has begun with that agreement, the withdrawal right no longer applies (Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(m), and the equivalent UK rules). This does not affect your rights if what you bought is faulty or not as described.
Price changes
If we change the price of a subscription, Google Play will notify you before it takes effect and, where required, ask you to accept it. You can always cancel instead.
6. Credits
Credits are a free in-game currency you earn by playing. They cannot be bought — there is no option to purchase them, and if that ever changes these terms will be updated before it goes live.
Credits are a limited licence to use a feature of the app. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred, sold or given to anybody else. Unused credits are lost when your account is deleted.
7. What belongs to whom
The app, its puzzles, artwork, avatars, sounds and code belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control, for as long as these terms are in force. That licence does not let you copy, distribute, sell or create competing works from it.
The little you contribute stays yours. Your display name and username are yours; you give us only the permission we need to show them to other players and to operate the service, and that permission ends when you delete your account. The app has no messaging and no uploads, so there is nothing else of yours for us to hold.
Scores, streaks, levels, mastery stars and credits are features of the service, not property. They have no value outside the game and cannot be sold or transferred.
8. Availability, and changes to the game
We do our best to keep Number Series working, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. It depends on your device, your connection, Android itself and Google's infrastructure.
A puzzle game changes: we may add, alter or remove modes, puzzles, difficulty balance and features. If we remove something a live subscription paid for, we will tell you in the app beforehand, and you may cancel. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data and cancel any subscription.
9. Ending it
You can stop using Number Series whenever you like. You can delete your account from Settings → Account in the app, or through the account deletion page. Remember to cancel your subscription in Play separately.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these terms, or if we are required to by law. Except where the breach is serious or we are legally prevented, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we end your access for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of any subscription period.
10. Our liability
Number Series is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms. Mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live continue to apply in full, and nothing here takes them away.
Subject to the two paragraphs above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of game progress beyond what we are responsible for under the privacy policy and applicable law. Where liability can lawfully be capped, ours is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, if you have never subscribed, is nothing.
Cloud backup is a convenience, not a guarantee. Keep nothing in this game that you would be upset to lose.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. The "Last updated" date always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Number Series afterwards means you accept it. If you do not, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law, and the courts of Romania have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts there.
If you are a consumer in the EU and we cannot settle something between us, you can take it to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in your own country. The European Consumer Centres Network will tell you which one covers you and can help with a cross-border complaint, and the European Commission's consumer redress pages explain your options.
We would much rather you emailed contact@funcode.ro first — most things are quicker to fix that way, and we would rather fix them.
13. Contact
These terms are written to describe how Number Series actually works, verified against the app's source code on September 28, 2026. They are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by a lawyer.
