Deleting your Number Series account
Last updated: September 28, 2026
You can delete your Number Series account (com.numberseries) and everything stored with it. There are two ways, and they do the same thing.
If you subscribe, cancel it first. Google Play holds your subscription, not us, so deleting your account here does not stop the billing. Cancel it in Play → Subscriptions or you will keep being charged for a game you can no longer sign in to.
From inside the app
- Open Number Series.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the section.
- Read the confirmation and confirm.
It happens immediately. You will be signed out and the app returns to the state it was in when you first installed it.
By email
If you no longer have the app installed, email contact@funcode.ro from the address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account.
We will action it within 30 days, and normally much sooner. If you write from a different address we will need to verify that the account is yours before deleting anything — which protects you from someone else deleting your account.
What gets deleted
- Your account and your sign-in.
- Your progress, streaks, statistics and mastery.
- Your cloud backup and your game history.
- Your friends, pending friend requests and duel history.
- The daily results you shared on the friends leaderboard.
- Your replies to friends' challenges, including the copies kept on their side, and the copies of friends' replies kept on yours.
- Your Daily Estimate guesses. The anonymous daily count they were added to stays, because nothing in it identifies you.
- Your public profile, so you stop being findable.
- Your username — it goes back into the pool for someone else to take.
- Your credit balance and its ledger.
- Your notification token, so nothing more is sent to your device.
- The copies of your username and avatar held in other players' friend lists.
- Everything stored on the device itself.
This cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no restore. Neither you nor we can recover it afterwards.
What we keep, and why
Two things survive deletion, deliberately:
- Abuse reports filed about you. Otherwise deleting an account would be a way to erase the record of harming somebody else.
- Blocks other players have placed on you. That is their safety decision, not yours, and it outlives your account.
Neither identifies you to anyone else, and both are kept under our legitimate interest in keeping players safe from each other. Beyond those:
- A transaction record may be retained where accounting law requires it. That is a payment record, not your game data.
- Deleted data can persist in Google Cloud's routine backups for a short period before those backups roll over. It is not reachable through the app or the service during that time.
We do not keep a shadow copy, a suppression list, or anything else after deletion.
What it means for your friends
Your friends stop seeing you in their list, and any friend request between you disappears. They keep their own accounts, their own progress and their own streaks. A shared streak between you simply ends.
Getting a copy first
Deletion is not reversible, so if you want your data, take it before you delete. In the app, Settings → Account → Export my data writes everything we hold about you to a JSON file you can save or share. You can also ask us by email.
Less than a full deletion
If deleting the account is more than you want:
- Turn off discoverability in your profile, and nobody can find you by searching for your username.
- Turn off the friends leaderboard in your profile, and the daily results you shared are deleted.
- Remove a friend individually, or block someone, from their entry in your friends list.
- Turn off analytics and crash reporting in Settings → Privacy. Both take effect immediately.
- Turn off notifications in your device's Android settings, which withdraws your consent for them.
- Sign out and keep playing. Every single-player mode works without an account.
